Caitlin Larkin
Accent Trainer
and Speech-Language Pathologist

Helping You Own Your Voice

I am Caitlin, a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Idaho in the USA. I am also certified nationally through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)*. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Boise State University and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I am a certified PESL instructor (Pronouncing English as a Second Language) and have taken additional accent training courses through The Accent Channel, a highly effective program with proven success. I am conversationally fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese, and hope to study additional languages in the future. I enjoy spending time in nature, studying languages, reading, and learning about other cultures. My favorite pastime is traveling and I have been fortunate to have visited many countries around the world. My favorite part of travel is meeting new people and hearing their stories. This is why I became an accent trainer - I am able to combine my expertise in linguistics with my love of getting to know new people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I enjoy helping others succeed and feel confident.

*NOTE: Although certified with ASHA as a speech-language pathologist, as an accent trainer I will not be diagnosing or providing therapy. Accent training is an elective service as an accent does NOT denote a disorder. Therefore, I will not be acting in the capacity of a speech-language pathologist but as a consultant with linguistic expertise and experience.
